Our son in law, Dan, is a civil engineer .  About 4 years ago he spent 2 years in Utah supervising a design team to improve the I 15 free-way from Lehi to Payson.   Susan and Dan came over for the grand opening of the I 15 Core and we had a nice visit with them.

Saturday night Susan gave us a wonderful slide show of their Mediterranean cruise/ tour.
She brought me small rocks from Nazareth, Gethsemane, Golgotha, and  The tomb.

Sunday our younger son, James,  and his family came to dinner. It was wonderful to have two of our 3  children with us at the same time.

We were all concerned about our older son Thomas.  He had a kidney stone the size of a marble that the doctors "blasted".  That left some troubleson pieces that had to be removed with a laser .  It was very painful.  We continue to pray for his complete recovery.

Monday, Susan gave us our Christmas present.  She and Dan with their daughter Erin, had toured Israel in November. Susan  purchased 9 olive wood cresches in Jerusalem.  One for us and all their 8 children.  Thank you Susan and Dan.

Monday night was their daughters graduation from the Utah College of Dental Hygienics.  Michele is their youngest child.  I can remember when Michele learned to tie her shoes.  She said, "Now everybody in our family can tie their shoes."  Now she can say, "Everybody in our family has a college bachelors degree".

After wards we went to the "Chocolate Shop"  for truly decadent dessert.  Michelle left for a date.  Then we had a nostalgic  goodbye to our family  and  drove home in a snow storm.  We easily made it up our hill and into our nice warm home.

It was a lovely weekend.
