Leland's sister, Gail,  visited us last September.  They came up from Southern California and stopped at Bryce Canyon.  Gail hiked up and took this wonderful picture that I love.
When I looked at it I thought, "This tree is successful because it rooted itself deeply and is still alive and growing."

It reminded of the  advice that Helaman gave his son where he says, "Remember, remember my son that is  upon the rock of the Redeemer, the son of the Living God, that you MUST build your foundation so that when the devil sends forth the mighty winds and shards in the whirlwind he will have NO POWER over you to drag you down into endless woe and misery, because you have built  your life on the SURE FOUNDATION and you will prosper and and have success"

We visited the Woodland Hills Park

Leland dug the hole for the playground.  It is nice his little sister is enjoying the swings.
